Melissa from The Sweet Society and myself Louisa from Little big company styled this “School’s Out Theme” for the year 6 graduation dinner for our sons, their friends, teachers and parents. We decided to play on the theme of chalkboard names, apples and incorporated the colours of their school sports teams, green, yellow, blue and red. The Cake pops made by Barbara from Hall of Cakes had a name tag on them and Barbara had even coloured the hair on the cake pop to be the same colour as the child so even making them more special. Danni from Sweet cheeks cookies and cakes worked with the theme and made the clever chalkboard style cookies and cupcake toppers. We decided that Mon tresor’s inspiration for table centrepieces of honeycomb balls from Little Big on sticks utilising the sports team colours was a cost effective and great idea to bring some colour into the hall. The backdrop by Wendy from Green Beansie Ink brought in that personal touch with their names in the background. Wendy did all the paperie, backdrop etc and made it special by including all the Year 6 graduates names in.
