It’s always been a bit of a tradition in my family’s house to make a big deal out of Easter. When I was growing up Mum would make us hunt for the eggs and she would alwasy have some special creative arrangement on the table (a different one every year) whether it be a huge basket with flowers and eggs in them or a cloche dome with an egg in it..always evidence of the Easter Bunny having been – with a half bitten carrot which was left on the table or a little footprint made out of talcum powder. What I loved is Mum’s choice of eggs, pretty flowers decorated on one of my eggs one year, looking more like an exquisite cake…or one year a box of eggs in a beautiful bunny tin…those little details I greeted with wonderment and I hope to bring the talcum powerded bunny rabbit feet into our house this year too…also bringing a bit of gorgeousness to the table having just bought this jadite milk glass bunny on a basket from Sharnel Dollar Designs below
